Alfa-Metal can provide you with a transfer from the Sofia airport to the training centre near Gabrovo.

Accommodation options:

  • Increased convenience (the hotel is located on the Alfa-Metal training facility) 300m from the weapons training grounds.
  • Military conditions (military-type panel houses) 50 m from the weapons training grounds.


External Accommodation

If the accommodation facility is fully booked, trainees will be accommodated in a partner hotel with high standards of comfort and convenience, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. Transportation between the hotel and our base, in both directions, will be provided at our expense.

Meals:

Meals are selected according to your preferences. Considerations for cultural, religious and special diets must be specified by the student before arrival. Food intolerances, allergies or individual requests will be taken into account.

Language of Teaching:

Depending on the course and the instructor, the language of instruction is either English or the instructor’s native language, with translation provided by an AI simultaneous translation system that can translate up to 3 languages ​​simultaneously. Course Objective

The Tactical Assault Team course is designed to provide participants with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to conduct assault operations in urban environments as part of an organized assault team.

The primary objective of the course is to prepare a Tactical Assault Team operator capable of effectively operating within a complex urban operation, executing assaults on buildings of various configurations, functioning under active resistance, properly allocating sectors of responsibility, integrating with supporting units, and transitioning from assault to object control and consolidation.

The course is built on a practical operational training framework and is intended for military personnel, members of special units, law enforcement agencies, and other government structures who have completed a basic CQB course and require advanced training in urban combat operations.

Course Description

The Tactical Assault Team course is an advanced training program that expands fundamental CQB principles to the level of full-scale urban operations.

The program combines structured theoretical instruction with intensive practical training focused on mastering assault operations in complex urban environments.

The primary emphasis of the course is placed on:

— planning and phasing of urban operations
— coordination of multiple assault elements
— dynamic and controlled entry procedures
— conducting combat operations inside buildings under active resistance
— operations in multi-level structures
— interaction with UAV units, sniper teams, medical evacuation elements, and perimeter security units
— transitioning from assault to control and consolidation of the objective

The course simulates realistic Urban Warfare scenarios with progressive task complexity and increasing operational tempo.

Training is conducted by instructors with verified combat and instructional experience in preparing units for operations in urban environments.

Duration and Methods

14 days (130 training hours)
Theory and intensive practical training

Theoretical and practical sessions are conducted:

— in classrooms of the Alfa-Metal Training Center
— at the training center shooting range
— at tactical training facilities and the urban training complex of the Alfa-Metal Training Center

The infrastructure and equipment of the Alfa-Metal Training Center are used throughout the training process.

Requirements and Conditions

— Mandatory completion of the basic CQB course
— Mandatory completion of tactical pistol and carbine courses (separately or combined)
— Practical experience operating in two-man and four-man teams
— Physical readiness for intensive workload
— Psychological readiness for stress-based scenarios

Final Outcome

Upon completion of the course, each participant will:

— gain a systematic understanding of the Tactical Assault Team structure within urban operations
— master advanced building assault procedures
— be able to operate under active resistance and limited visibility conditions
— understand and apply interaction procedures with urban operation support units
— acquire the ability to transition from assault to objective control and consolidation
— complete a final comprehensive urban operation followed by detailed performance analysis
— receive an official Advanced CQB / Tactical Assault Team certificate and recommendations for further specialization
