The Tactical Pistol Course is an advanced combat handgun training program designed to elevate participants from basic firearm handling to professional-level tactical pistol proficiency. The primary objective of this advanced pistol course is to further develop and refine existing shooting fundamentals while integrating modern tactical handgun techniques applicable to real-world defensive and operational environments.

Throughout the course, students will improve essential skills such as correct shooting stance, grip, sight alignment and sight picture, trigger control, recoil management, and shot placement accuracy. These core fundamentals are combined with advanced combat pistol techniques, enabling participants to operate a short-barreled weapon efficiently under dynamic and tactical conditions, including the use of cover, movement, and stress-influenced decision-making.

Course Description

The Tactical Pistol Course is structured into theoretical instruction (10%) and intensive practical application (90%), ensuring a solid understanding of both concepts and execution.

Training Structure

During the theoretical portion, participants expand their knowledge of firearm safety, legal considerations, tactical principles, and modern handgun employment concepts. The practical phase consists of progressive tactical shooting drills, where students apply combat pistol techniques in realistic scenarios.

Practical exercises include shooting from various positions, use of cover and concealment, angular engagement, lateral movement, and adaptation to environmental and situational challenges.

All training is conducted at the modern, certified shooting range (polygon) of the Alfa-Metal Training Centre, providing a controlled and professional training environment.

Stress Level and Instruction

The course is rated at a low to moderate stress level, allowing participants to focus on skill development while maintaining strict safety standards. Instruction is delivered by highly qualified instructors with extensive combat, tactical, and instructional experience in firearms training.

Method of Conducting Classes

Training includes both theoretical and practical instruction, delivered through classroom-based learning and live-fire drills on the shooting range. All training materials and use of the Alfa-Metal Training Centre facilities are included.

Terms and Conditions

Prior experience with handguns is required to participate in this advanced tactical pistol course. The training is not intended for beginners and assumes safe firearm handling and basic marksmanship skills.

Course Completion and Certification

Upon successful completion of the Tactical Pistol Course, participants will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical foundations and practical application of tactical handgun use.

Students will be able to handle pistols confidently and safely, apply advanced combat shooting techniques, and demonstrate improved accuracy, control, and tactical awareness. Based on demonstrated proficiency, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, along with individual recommendations for further weapons and tactical training.
