Terms and Conditions
The terms in this document are defined as follows:
- Training – a paid educational or training event of a closed type, organized by the Organizer and intended for a specific number of registered participants.
- Registered Participant – a client who has completed the following:
2.1. Registration for participation in the course.
2.2. Payment of the course within the deadline and in accordance with the Organizer’s requirements.
2.3. Confirmation of attendance for the specified date and duration of the event.
- Organizer – INTERNATIONAL CENTERS FOR SPECIAL TRAINING OF PROTECTION AND SECURITY ALFA-METAL SLLC.
- Candidate/Participant – a person who has registered their intent and made the necessary payment for participation in the training organized by the Organizer.
- Valid Information – the information published by the Organizer on www.alfa-metal.com regarding a specific training.
- Legal Provisions – the legal framework of the Republic of Bulgaria, governing signed contracts and all matters related to the Organizer’s activities.
Rules for Participation in Training
The rules for participation in a training event organized by the Organizer are as follows:
- Registration for participation in an event can be done through www.alfa-metal.com or by contacting training@alfa-metal.com.
- Payment for the training must be made according to the Organizer’s rules.
- The participant must confirm their participation for the specified date of the event.
Method and Rules for Registration
Each candidate for training may register through www.alfa-metal.com. To successfully complete the registration, the candidate must provide the required information and confirm the understanding of the training conditions. The candidate must provide the following documents:
- A valid passport at the time of registration.
- Medical insurance.
- A certificate of no criminal record and that the individual is not wanted by Bulgarian or international law enforcement agencies.
- A medical certificate of physical and mental health.
- A high school diploma.
The Organizer is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or false information provided by the candidate. For example, the candidate cannot claim that they were not informed of changes if they provided incorrect contact information.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse registration for training if the registration lacks complete and accurate information. The Organizer is not obliged to contact the candidate to obtain missing information.
The Organizer reserves the right to terminate the registration without needing to provide a reason.
Payment for Training Fee
- The Organizer requires a 30% deposit upon registration.
- The Organizer accepts payment from registered candidates in the following forms:
- Bank transfer.
- Payment via debit/credit card (Visa/Mastercard).
- The candidate for training must provide their identification details, training name, and payment date.
- Information about the payment process is available on www.alfa-metal.com. The Organizer will issue and send a pro forma invoice to the candidate for payment purposes.
- The Organizer is not responsible if the payment reference does not allow identification of the candidate. The registration code issued by the system must be included in the payment reference. For individual training, the minimum required information includes the first and last name, training name, and the start date.
- The candidate must provide proof of payment to the Organizer before the training begins, if necessary.
- The Organizer reserves the right to refuse training to a candidate who has proof of payment but lacks the necessary identification information as outlined in point 3.
- Upon request from the candidate, an invoice can be issued at the end of the training and sent to the provided email address or physical address.
- The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the training process or during its delivery.
Cancellation of Training
- The Organizer reserves the right to change the date or cancel the training event up to 3 (three) days before the scheduled start without the need to provide a reason.
- If the event is canceled or the date is changed, the Organizer must notify the registered candidates.
- Notification is made through the following methods:
- Email – to the address provided by the candidate.
- Phone – to the number provided by the candidate.
- Posting information on www.alfa-metal.com.
- If the training is canceled by the Organizer, the candidate has two options:
- Option 1 – Refund of the amount paid for the training to the candidate’s account.
- Option 2 – The paid fee is retained by the Organizer, and the candidate may attend a rescheduled training at a later date.
If the candidate chooses Option 2, the Organizer must promptly inform the candidate of the new scheduled date for the training.
Withdrawal from Training
The candidate may withdraw from the paid training they have registered for.
The withdrawal must be made in writing (via letter/email).
In case of withdrawal from the training by the candidate:
- If the withdrawal occurs at least 28 days before the start of the course, the deposit paid, which serves as the booking fee, will not be refunded. However, if the candidate wishes to attend another training, the deposit may be transferred to the new course.
- The candidate must pay the full training fee if the withdrawal happens less than 7 days before the start of the training.
Regardless of the withdrawal date, both parties have the option to negotiate the retention of the paid fee by the Organizer, allowing the candidate to attend the same or another training at a later date.
If the candidate withdraws again from the rescheduled training, they lose the right to reschedule or receive a refund.
In case of a candidate’s withdrawal from a paid training that involves a group, this could result in an increase in the price for the remaining group members.
Withdrawal from training, for which the candidate has already paid but failed to follow the procedures outlined above, results in the loss of the right to a refund. The candidate will also be considered absent and loses the right to reschedule the training.
Force Majeure
The Organizer may be unable to conduct the training due to strikes, riots, terrorism, civil protests, fires, floods, explosions, accidents, epidemics, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond their control. In this case, the Organizer reserves the right to postpone the training to a later date and retain the payment made by the candidate for the rescheduled training.
Principles and Procedures During Training
The following principles and procedures are mandatory for the candidate to follow during training:
- During the training, the candidate must follow the instructions of the Organizer’s staff.
- Adhere to fire safety instructions provided on the training grounds.
- Do not consume alcohol during the training.
- Smoke only in designated areas.
- Do not use narcotics during the training.
- Behave professionally, show respect to other participants, and do not disrupt the training.
- Follow the instructor’s instructions without hesitation.
- The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the training who violates the above rules.
- Participants found violating the rules on points 2, 3, and 5 will be removed from the training and will lose the right to a refund of the training fee.
- All participants are financially responsible for any damage caused to property or equipment during the training.
- The Organizer is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items during the training process.
- Any participant who notices a situation that could be dangerous to the life and health of others must immediately inform the instructor.
Discounts
The valid prices for different types of training are published on www.alfa-metal.com. The Organizer reserves the right to offer individual discounts to candidates/groups at their discretion. Discounts are not automatically applied. Each time a participant recommends another candidate, they may apply for a discount for their next training.
The Organizer is not responsible for prices published by third parties that do not correspond to those listed on www.alfa-metal.com.
Complaints
All reservations made by candidates to the Organizer are considered successful when made in writing to the Organizer’s registered address or via email to the candidate’s registered email address. A reservation is considered successful when the candidate receives confirmation from the Organizer in writing or via email, but no later than 14 days before the training begins. Complaints will not be accepted if the 14-day period has passed. Complaints will only be considered if received within the 14-day period. The candidate will be informed whether their complaint is accepted or rejected in writing.
Final Provisions
Any disputes arising before, during, or after participation in training should be resolved in the competent court within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. If the dispute is not covered by the aforementioned legislation, the provisions outlined in the Civil Code will apply.
The personal information provided by the candidate will be collected and stored in accordance with current data protection laws, with the data administrator being INTERNATIONAL CENTERS FOR SPECIAL TRAINING OF PROTECTION AND SECURITY ALFA-METAL SLLC. The candidate has the right to view, modify, and delete their personal information.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions outlined on this page at any time by posting the updated version.
